Yellow Welly Tours and No.7 Braemar

Home Comforts

We want you to feel like you are at home when you stay with us and we have provided some items to help your stay more relaxing for you. Geva loves improving the house, so don’t be surprised if there are changes – like the Otolenghi plate that just cried out to go above the green up-cycled green dresser she enhanced with Camilla Hampton scallops and Matilda Goad knobs.

As well as inviting beds and bath sheets, luxurious shower gel/hand wash/body cream, small bottles of bubble bath and salts are on hand – and we are happy to refill the bubble bath and/or salts during your stay.

You will find a hairdryer in the main double bedroom. Each bedroom has two hot water bottles with covers if it gets cold.

There is a selection of board games to keep everyone entertained.

The log basket will be stacked with logs and matches and kindling will be ready for you.
A small welcome pack of kitchen treats are part of your welcome to No.7 and Braemar and we have an Honesty Box to raise funds for Braemar Care operating for the spirits you will find in a cupboard in the utility room.

The kitchen has washing up liquid, dish cloths and dishwasher tablets.

There’s a selection of Nespresso capsules and tea bags for that much needed cuppa.

And of course a fridge/freezer/microwave, pots and pans, cutlery/glasses/mugs/jugs

We have a high chair and travel cot that can be provided if requested.

We have included some child friendly cutlery/dishes in the kitchen as well as a stair gate to help keep them (and dogs!) from climbing the stairs on an adventure.

The bunkbed room comes with a range of children’s books and teddies to cuddle during their stay.

The house has a utility room and you will find crockery for outside use and ice buckets as well as both bio and non-bio washing tabs, mops/brushes/hoover/washing machine and dryer. There are ‘boot trays’ on the shelves for muddy footwear.

As dog-lovers, we welcome well behaved dogs (maximum 2 unless otherwise agreed beforehand) but ask that they do not go upstairs or sit on any of the furniture/beanbags.
We can provide a medium size dog crate and there is a jar of treats for well-behaved for furry friends. We ask they sleep in the utility room please

In the house folder you will find information on the house and local attractions and activities along with details of our bespoke Yellow Welly Tours operated by Simon.

Someone is always available to help with any problems or queries.
